BOOKING FEE It's $25 to reserve your shoot date/time. Non-refundable. Once you spend it...she gone. And this fee is NOT included in the total of your video/editing costs.

 

TURNAROUND TIME* It's gonna be about 1.5 - 2.5 weeks before you get your video back. But that time doesn't start until you pay AT LEAST HALF of your total. If we shoot March 1st, and you pay half of your total on March 15th, then you won't get your video until around April 2nd.

If you pay 1/2 (or everything) right away then you good and you don't have to worry about all that math.

​

Your video won't be released to you until the FULL PAYMENT HAS BEEN MADE...even if the video is finished. (Unless you're a fancy business with an accounting department and you do NET30s and what not.)

​

REVISIONS If you pay more than $100 you get one (1) set of free revisions fo' free. After I send the first draft you'll have four (4) days to get your revisions back to me. If you wait too long your video is getting bumped to the bottom of the list, you'll have to pay a fee, and you'll have to wait even longer for your video. Yikes.

​

If you pay less than $100 you can get revisions it'll just cost extra.

 

SPECIAL EFFECTS Y'all have been asking me to do the most. AND I LOVE IT! But it also takes a billion years and lots of planning. And so...

 

Special effects are no longer included in the cost of your video.

 

What counts as a special effect? Anything that you ask for that isn't in the video. Some examples: Adding clones of yourself having a kiki with each other. Removing logos on clothing, covering license plates, fixing blemishes/oily skin/acne. Making objects appear and disappear. Adding glowing lines/floating orbs/draw effects. Putting videos on computer screens or tvs. Adding text. Or any other magic adventures and ideas y’all come up with.

Transitions do not count as special effects unless you request specific ones.

 

CREATIVE/ARTISTIC DIRECTION Creative/Artistic direction will no longer be offered for free.

 

What is creative/artistic direction? When you need help bringing your ideas to life but don't know how to make it happen, when you need help coming up with a story/theme, when you need help making all the parts come together cohesively. When you need help with the script, or figuring out lighting styles, sets, or costumes that help tell your story. These are some examples.

PAYMENT METHODS. I accept cash, card, PayPal and Venmo. NO CASHAPP. NO ZELLE. 

 

Card, PayPal and Venmo payments WILL BE TAXED. (NYC tax is 8.875%).

I've been banned for life from zelle because they thought I was laundering money (I was paying the gas/electric bill but we won't talk about that). So I'm not really flexible on payment types.

 

WETRANSFER The WeTransfer link to your video is only available for 7 days. Please download and save the video to a safe place during that time. There will be a $15 fee to resend the link after it has expired.

 

RAW FOOTAGE 

I no longer give away the RAW footage unless I'm only being hired to film. Nothing else. No edits.

​

VIDEO TEXT The only text that is included in your video will be the title, credits, and your logo. Any thing else will cost extra. Hit me up with specifics to find out how much extra. Animated (moving) text will cost more than non-moving text.

 

LIGHTING Lights are not automatically included in your booking. Lighting changes lives though y'all. So I will always recommend that you make sure your light set up is cute....whether it's the sun, or bright street lights, or lights that come with the studio you book, or lights that you get from me. YOU NEED LIGHTS!

Lighting must be requested in advance.

 

BONUS I can set up a lighting plan for you when you book. DM a picture reference of the type of lighting you’re interested in and I’ll tell you the lights you’ll need in order to make it happen.

 

BODY MICS/SPEAKING ON CAMERA Audio is always captured when recording, buuuuuuut, if you want the sound quality to be CUUUUUUTE, then I recommend including body mics in your rental. I have two body mics available for rental. If interested please contact me at contact@crickvisuals.com
